Adding a Frame Around the Date Window

Hello!

So, after some feedback on the date window, we have decided to add a frame around it. This is because the cut in the marble's natural material can be a bit rough. The picture below shows the frame. Please ignore the color of the date wheel. It will be the opposite like on the final prototypes in the campaign with black wheel and white letters.

We also spend a lot of time looking through Kickstarter at all the great campaigns on there and we found these two that interested us so we wanted to share them with you. We will do this from time to time throughout the campaign.

Possible Stretch Goal Item and Today's Question

Hello Everyone!

So, we are at 45% now and excited. At four days in, we like to think that is a good start, but we still have a long way to go and we aren't going to relax one bit!

Two things today.

First, we are curious how many of our backers have been to Berlin. But even more specifically, we wonder if any of you were there when the wall came down in 1989. (Or know someone who was). We would love to hear your story. We will share them on the campaign page if you would like. Also, please send any pictures from any trip you took to Berlin. This project is about honoring the people of that great city as much as anything.

And speaking of Berlin, our team will be there next week to get video and pics at the East Side Gallery, Checkpoint Charlie, and the Brandenburg Gate. We will be posting real-time updates, so stay tuned.

For today we would also like to share that we got the sample of the wooden plate that could be our first stretch goal. It is really cool! Wooden picture of the watch and the special, new graffiti we commissioned from a working graffiti artist in Berlin. These will be hand signed by Craig if this goal comes together.

As we get closer to $25k we will announce the amount we need to hit and start talking about other stretch goals.
